Roosevelt Elementary has a history of creating academically and socially successful students by meeting their diverse learning needs. Our dedicated staff, caring students, and supportive families work together to provide high-quality instruction, social-emotional/behavioral supports, and opportunities for students to pursue strengths and interests.
We welcome students with learning differences into our general education classes and provide special education services through our Collaborative Learning Center model. Our general education intervention program provides small group support in Reading and Math at all grade levels. 4th and 5th grade team teaching allows teachers to become content experts in either English-Language Arts and Social Studies or Math and Science. Our staff provides a variety of opportunities for social-emotional learning that help students build character and social skills along with academic knowledge.
We are fortunate to have an incredibly supportive parent community who donates time, energy, and resources to enrich our programs and overall classroom experiences. We recognize the importance of arts education and provide programs in visual and performing arts.
If you have questions about what makes our school great, just ask any of the dedicated professionals or friendly families at our school. Thank you for doing your part to make Roosevelt Elementary a great place to learn together.
GO ROUGH RIDERS!
